Are you ready to take your martial arts skills to the next level?
Our next Seminar of Excellence is coming Saturday, November 14, and we’re concentrating on two of the most exciting and important areas of traditional Taekwondo training: Kicking Excellence & Sparring Excellence!
This special two-hour seminar is designed to help students improve their techniques, sharpen their skills, develop greater confidence, and become more proficient martial artists. And this time, we’re adding something extra special for our earliest registrants!
Two hours of specialized training
Our regular Taekwondo classes provide students with a variety of training experiences. However, our Seminars of Excellence allow us to spend additional time concentrating on specific skills that are essential to becoming a well-rounded martial artist. Here’s what we’ll be working on!
1. Kicking Excellence — take your kicks to another level!
Kicking is one of the most recognizable and exciting aspects of traditional Taekwondo. But great kicking techniques require much more than simply lifting your leg! Students will work on:
- Developing proper kicking techniques
- Improving balance and coordination
- Increasing accuracy and control
- Building flexibility and confidence
- Understanding the importance of proper body positioning
- Developing more effective kicking combinations
Whether your student is a beginner or an advanced martial artist, there’s always room to improve!
2. Sparring Excellence — think smarter, move better, build confidence!
Sparring is an important part of martial arts training because it helps students learn how to apply their skills with proper timing, movement, distance, and control. During our Sparring Excellence training, we’ll focus on:
- Proper footwork and movement
- Improving timing and distancing
- Effective offensive and defensive techniques
- Blocking and counterattacking
- Developing better combinations
- Building confidence while maintaining discipline and control
At the Family Martial Arts Center, our emphasis is always on controlled sparring, safety, respect, and proper technique. Our goal is to develop smarter, more confident martial artists — not reckless fighters!
Every participant receives two special Excellence Patches!
Every student participating in this seminar will receive the Kicking Excellence Patch and the Sparring Excellence Patch. That’s TWO special embroidered achievement patches included in the seminar tuition! These patches recognize the student’s dedication to learning, improving, and pursuing excellence.
Special bonus — the first 10 people to register receive a FREE focus mitt!
The first 10 participants who register will receive a complimentary focus mitt at absolutely no additional charge! A focus mitt is an excellent training tool that can be used at home with a parent, family member, or training partner. It provides an opportunity to practice striking techniques, improve accuracy, develop coordination, and reinforce important martial arts skills outside of class.
Only the first 10 registered participants will receive this complimentary gift. Once those 10 spots have been filled, the special offer ends — so if you’d like one, we strongly encourage you to register early!
